How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?

Not at all! I love helping Momma and their partner during the birthing experience.

Think of me as a support for the whole family! I can also guide your partner in how to support and assist you.

Do you perform any physical examinations?

No. Doulas are not medical professionals,

I CANNOT

preform a cervical check,

check your blood pressure

or monitor your baby's heart rate.

What are your interactions with medical staff like?

It is not my job to speak on your behalf to your medical staff or give medical advice.
